FlowForms are unique in that the water flowing through them takes up a pulsing figure eight movement. the engaging sight and sound of the rhythmically flowing water and the sculptural form of the pieces themselves, make flowforms ideally suited to a wide range of architectural and landscape settings. They can be used to enhance ornamental and wildlife ponds. A range of FlowForms have been developed offering a choice of models suitable for small gardens and interiors through to large ponds and public spaces. FlowForms were created by artists who studied natural water movements carefully and observed waters classical circular movements in swirling eddies. To emulate and increase these tendencies vessels were sculpted in such a way that a constant stream of water flowing through it is allowed to move in a rounder way and find a 'pulse'. By allowing the water to move closer to its nature it becomes more open to subtle influences which allow it to better carry biological information. This effect is like the qualities that occur naturally in high mountain streams. Vessels so sculpted allow these natual movements to reanimate the water flowing in them. Water moving in circles and rhythms behaves in a more natural, balanced way, seeming to release more 'energy' from the water itself enabling it to stay fresher longer. Plants love this energy. So do birds. Below
